The benefits are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No special or high qualifications are required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid for 2 years, may be extended for another 3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family unification available<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permanent residency available after at least 3 years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to change status, you can apply for another type of Hungarian residency without leaving Hungary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All of these benefits make this type of residency much more attractive than regular work permit, and <a href=\"https:\/\/magyarkozlony.hu\/dokumentumok\/d3f99fa03573b140eea0adf18aedcad777559f8d\/megtekintes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">from July 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024<\/a>, nationals of eight countries are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Extended list of eligible countries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Up till now, the National Card was available only to Serbian and Ukrainian applicants.
