If you wish to obtain the guest investor residency through real estate purchase, make sure to start the property search now<\/strong>. While submitting applications will not be possible before July 2024, it is best if you have everything ready by then, and purchasing real estate in Hungary takes time<\/strong>, especially if you are a third-country national. You will need to find a piece of property you like, and then you will need to take care of the relevant paperwork (detailed below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, there are not too many pieces of real estate in Budapest or its vicinity<\/strong> that match the main requirement (that its value must be at least EUR 500,000). As a result, if you intend to real estate around the capital, you should act right now<\/strong>, while there is a wider selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residential real estate purchase for the golden visa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Looking for real estate as part of your golden visa application<\/strong>, the same rules will pertain to you as anyone else; there are no shortcuts expected<\/strong>.
