Open a bank account in person<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you already know at which bank you want to open a bank account, get an appointment at a branch office of the bank of your choice. In Hungary, bank account opening has to be done in person; you cannot do that via an authorization or a POA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you have your appointment, go there on time, or even a few minutes before. Based on what type of account you want to open, you will probably be given a list of necessary documents; make sure to have all of them with you. Also, remember to ask the official about online banking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
