Making Hungary Home with the experts

The speaker, Dr. Anna Kőszegi, is a pillar of our immigration team thanks to her profound knowledge of the new Hungarian immigration law that introduced several new types of residence permits, each with its own conditions and benefits. She also has extensive experience working with the administrators of the Immigration Office.

The host, Anikó Woods, is a Canadian-Hungarian and the founder of How to Hungary – a trusted expat platform and author of the popular ebook “How to Hungary: Budapest & Beyond.” Her work combines practical advice, expert insights, and personal stories to help internationals understand, integrate, and enjoy life in Hungary.

The webinar will take 60 minutes or so on October 29, starting from 16:00 CET. During this time, Dr. Kőszegi and Ms. Woods will talk about the most accessible ways to obtaining Hungarian residency and making Hungary a home, including:

• Employment and eligibility for the Hungarian Card, the EU Blue Card, the National Card, and the Residence Permit for the Purpose of Employment
• Family ties and eligibility for residency based on family unification
• Business setup and eligibility for the Residence Permit based on Guest Self-Employment
• Other reasons that provide eligibility for Hungarian residency
• Permanent residency with the National Residence Card and the EU Residence Card
