New investment fund approved in the Hungarian Golden Visa program

New option for investors

Now that another real estate investment fund received its license for participation in the new Hungarian investment residency program, investors may enjoy the freedom of choosing whichever option they like best. Of course, the basics are the same:

• An EUR 250,000 investment in a real estate fund where at least 40% of the assets consist of residential real estate located in Hungary.

The investment should be maintained for at least 5 years. If you want to renew your Hungarian residency when the first 10 years are up, you should maintain your investment, or make another one at the same value before you apply for renewal.

10+10 years of EU residency for investors

Whether you choose one investment fund or the other, you and your family members will get 10+10 years of Hungarian residency. Hungarian residency offers visa free travel in the Schengen zone, with an option for moving to Hungary, but without the requirement to spend any time here.

You, your spouse, and your underage children can travel anywhere in the EU without waiting for a visa approval, and if you choose Hungary as your second home, you can enjoy the high living standards, safety and comfort of the European Union, for a fraction of the price you would pay in Western Europe.

US nationals are more than welcome to apply, alongside any other nationals. We encourage even Russian citizens to enquire about their options, because they might also be eligible under specific conditions.
