On a beautiful estate spanning nearly 60,000 square meters, stands a magnificent castle built in 1910 and meticulously renovated in 2012 according to plans by Ybl Award winner architect Caesar Herrer y Marchez. With its 3,133sqm total floor space, the castle evokes the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles while it boasts 13 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms, 7 bathrooms, and is surrounded by a park featuring century-old trees transplanted from the Felvidék region.
Architecture-wise, the complex is more like a medieval fortress, although it incorporates elements of the Renaissance and the Baroque. It offers luxury, opulence, spaciousness, and caters to the demands of 21st-century luxury living.
This is the only “green” castle in Hungary. It has a 50kW solar panel farm in its park, providing nearly all of the electricity, while the boiler house operates with four 64kW biomass boilers. Solar collectors provide hot water, and the park’s irrigation is supplied by a drilled well.
The main building
The 1,630sqm main building consists of the ground floor, two upper floors, and an attic, along with a full basement, all transformed and renovated with the highest quality standards, considering comfort, functionality, and security (the professional security system has both indoor and outdoor surveillance cameras). Throughout the building, unique frescoes, color schemes, and hand-woven silk tapestries evoke the ambiance of Versailles. The marvelous suites feature individual marble fireplaces. There is also a vault and an armory. The basement houses a wine cellar with rustic stone flooring, wrought iron doors adorned with vine leaves and grapes, and stained-glass windows.

The side wing
The side wing contains areas for the staff (offices) as well as a wellness area. There is a basement below this wing too.
The ground floor covers 322sqm, and houses a 100sqm wellness with an indoor pool, a fitness room, a Finnish and an infrared sauna, a steam cabin and a jacuzzi. There is also an outdoor pool and an outdoor jacuzzi right outside the building. Here you will also find changing rooms, restroom, a laundry room, a kitchen, and a cold storage room for game.

The castle grounds
Within the castle park, there is an 8-stall baroque-style racing horse stable (383sqm), a 163sqm biomass boiler house and control center, a dog kennel, two large Alpine-style wooden houses (270sqm each), a smaller cottage, and a horse training area. There is a large like with a charming island in the middle, which collects water from the stream flowing through the grounds. There is room for building a helipad, too.
The castle is surrounded by an 84,000ha hunting ground, which is the nearest hunting ground to Budapest. Additionally, Pest County’s largest fishing lake, Sinkár Lake, is in close proximity, boasting an 84ha surface and a unique fish population.
