Personal assistance in Budapest

Concierge service / Personal assistant

Some clients use our personal assistance service for a few days when they first come to Hungary – we assist them with shopping, getting settled, using public transport, receiving deliveries, or anything else that they need in order to feel comfortable. When an unexpected emergency or errand comes along, you can call on us to take care of it for you or with you. Basically, we provide you with a local, English-speaking, practical-minded personal assistant whenever you need one.

Administrative assistant

Our assistants are available for personal errands but also for business tasks like basic administration or performing smaller research tasks. We also have personal drivers and cars at our clients’ disposal – you can use them for airport pickup, or transport to and from meetings.

Pricing

When you consult with us about the nature of assistance you need, we’ll be happy to find the best solution for you whether it is hourly assistance, a weekly or monthly retainer contract, or a project-based arrangement.

Our basic personal assistance service costs EUR 25 (+VAT) per hour, and is available in the following discounted packages:

Prepaid packages:

10 hours good for two months: EUR 225 (+VAT)
20 hours good for four months: EUR 425 (+VAT)
30 hours good for six months: EUR 600 (+VAT)
Here, the minimum unit is one hour, and we ask for a 48-hour notice for any task.

Single blocks of hours:

3 hours: EUR 75 (+VAT)
5 hours: EUR 120 (+VAT)
10 hours: EUR 200 (+VAT)
The blocks should be used up over one day, and we’re happy to assist at a 24-hour notice.

Emergency (same-day) assistance: EUR 40 (+VAT) per hour.

Jobs requiring specialized expertise (e.g. legal, financial) or professional interpreting skills: based on the type of job EUR 40 to 80 (+VAT) per hour. Please ask about your specific requirements.

Driver + assistant service: EUR 250 (+VAT) per day (including vehicle no rental needed)

Of course not! If your property needs renovation, we will help you renovate it. We will find you a reliable electrician, plumber, carpenter or interior decorator – all at local prices. We will supervise their work, negotiate the price of their service, and make sure they deliver on time. If you are located abroad, we can offer you key-holding, regular check-ups of your place, or help with renting it out.

Whatever you need, from holiday accommodation to corporate housing, we can accompany you to negotiate the rent or the purchase price, advise you as to which neighborhoods would suit you best or what you should pay special attention to when looking for a home, find you a garage to rent near your new place, look over (or translate) the tenancy contract for you, and take care of any paperwork.

After settling in, there is a lot of information to be gathered. You need to know where the nearest dry-cleaner is, which restaurants will serve you the best food or which ones are likely to rip you off, or where the best shopping areas, markets, English-language bookstores are, to find an international school or kindergarten for your children, or a Hungarian teacher or language school for yourself. Whether you are here for business, for work, or to study in Hungary, our personalized services will provide you with all the info that you need.

Naturally that depends on the nature of the request but you’ll probably be surprised. We have been known to find a replacement secretary in less than an hour, an IT-specialist Hungarian-to-English translator in about thirty minutes, or painters for a crisis situation immediately! Of course, we can only estimate the time required once we hear your request.
