I was recently approved for simplified naturalization. I could not have done this without Mercedesz. She was able to locate my great grandparent’s birth certificates in Hungary, completed the application, arranged for official translation of my documents, and provided support along the way. I highly recommend working with this company and not attempting to do this on your own. It is an overwhelming experience and it is important that everything is completed accurately. The flat fee was very reasonable for the work they did. The entire process from start to finish was about 3 years. Mercedesz was there to help me at every step of the way.

I’m writing this review because the lawyer I spoke with before helpers (who is high up in the google search results) wanted 150 euro before he would say a word to me about my Hungarian visa issues.
By contrast, Helpers were kind, attentive and extremely fair. Anna is an excellent and sharp advocate, she helped me quickly and effectively, and I can’t recommend Helpers enough. (In retrospect, I guess I shouldn’t be so surprised to find an idealistic and capable firm when of all the names available, they chose the name Helpers.)

Who can buy an apartment in Hungary?
Any foreigner can buy a residential property in Hungary but buyers who are not EU nationals require a license, which we are happy to acquire for you as part of our service. Read more here.
If I want to sell my property later on, what costs will I have?
In case of selling real estate, personal income tax must be paid on the income from the sale. The domestic personal income tax rate on property sales is 15 %, but the amount of required tax depends on several factors. Over time, the tax gradually decreases, and after 5 years it becomes 0. How long will the process of buying an apartment take?
Once you have found a flat you like, you make a down payment and we start the application for the purchase license, which typically takes 5-6 weeks.
